Split Airport to Čiovo, to any village on the island

Čiovo is the long island across the water from Trogir, joined to the mainland by bridges. Most of the holiday houses and apartments are in Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji on the west side, and in Arbanija and Slatine to the east, facing Split.

From the airport the road passes Trogir, crosses onto the island and follows the shore to your village.

Summer traffic on the bridges

In July and August the bridges onto the island back up, especially on Saturday afternoons when apartments change guests. For a ride back to the airport, Alen sets the pick-up time with that in mind.

Finding your apartment

Many addresses on Čiovo are hard to find, and some sit on steep side roads. Send the exact address or a pin from your host, and Alen will take you as close to the door as the road allows.

Questions about Čiovo

How long does it take to Slatine?

Slatine is at the far eastern end of the island, so it takes longer than Okrug. Expect around half an hour outside the peak.

What does the ride cost?

It depends on the village and the time. Send the details and you get the price in the reply, before you book.
