FAQ
Questions before you book
Most questions are answered fastest on WhatsApp. The common ones are below.
Booking
How do I book a ride?
Send a WhatsApp message to +385 98 951 2402, write to subataxi@gmail.com or use the form. Include the date, time, pick-up, destination, number of passengers and bags.
When is my ride confirmed?
When Alen confirms it. A form or an email on its own does not book anything.
Can I change the details later?
Yes. Send the change in the same chat or email thread and wait for Alen to confirm the new details.
Prices and payment
How much does a transfer cost?
Every transfer is priced on request, for the whole car. Send the addresses, time and luggage, and you get the price before you book.
Are extra stops or waiting time included?
No. Stops and waiting are charged separately and agreed in advance.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer, card or cash.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the agreed time. After that, an amount already paid is not refunded.
Airport, car and luggage
Where do we meet at Split Airport?
At the stop marked App Ride in the south part of the car park, or Alen meets you in the arrivals hall. Choose when you book.
How many people fit in the car?
Up to four passengers in the Renault Espace.
How much luggage fits?
Two large and two small suitcases are included in the fare. The boot holds up to three large and three small in total; more luggage should be mentioned in advance.
When do you drive?
From 1 March to 1 October, 06:00 to 22:00. Outside the season, ask about your date.
Day trips
What kind of day trips are there?
Private trips from Split for your group only: Krka and Šibenik, Omiš and the Cetina, Biokovo and Makarska, Mostar, Plitvice, Zadar and more. Each trip page shows the duration and the starting price per vehicle.
Are entrance tickets included?
Only if the trip page says so. Otherwise plan to pay for park tickets, boat rides and meals on the day.
Borders
Do we need a passport for Mostar or Međugorje?
Yes. Both are in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so every traveller, children included, needs a valid passport or ID card. Check the rules for your nationality.
Is there a border on the way to Dubrovnik?
No. The road goes over the Pelješac Bridge and stays in Croatia.
