Krka waterfalls and the old town of Šibenik

Cathedral of St James, Šibenik
Šibenik
The plan
Krka National Park
The main sight is Skradinski buk, a long cascade of travertine steps where the Krka meets the Čikola. A wooden boardwalk loops over and around the water in about an hour. Depending on the season and which entrances are open, you go in at Lozovac or take the park boat from Skradin.
Šibenik
Walk down to the cathedral of St James, a UNESCO site built entirely of stone, then up through the lanes to St Michael's fortress for the view over the channel.
Good to know
Krka tickets are paid at the park and cost more in high season. Swimming at Skradinski buk is no longer allowed.
