Cetina Canyon
The plan
Omiš
In the Middle Ages the Kačić family ran a pirate base here, and their fast boats raided even Venetian ships. Climb the steps to the Mirabella fortress for the view over the rooftops and the river mouth.
The canyon road
The road runs along the green water between grey cliffs, with short stops at viewpoints along the way.
Radmanove mlinice
Old water mills on the riverbank, now a restaurant under the plane trees. A good place for lunch or a coffee by the water.
Good to know
Rafting, canyoning or a zipline can be added, booked and paid separately with local operators. Ask when you book so the timing fits.
