The stops
Pelješac Bridge
The bridge carries the road from the mainland across to the Pelješac peninsula, high above the bay. No need to stop; the view is best from the car.
Ston
The walls of Ston run up the hill behind the town and once guarded its salt pans, which are still worked. A walk along the walls takes about an hour.
Mali Ston
A small harbour a few minutes from Ston, with restaurants serving oysters and mussels farmed in the bay. A good place for lunch.
Dubrovnik
About an hour more to your accommodation. The old town is closed to cars, so the drop-off is at the nearest gate or road.
