Split to Zadar along the coast road
The motorway gets you from Split to Zadar in about two hours, but it runs inland and you see very little. The old coast road takes longer and passes three of the best small towns in Dalmatia.
Pick all three stops or only one or two. Alen plans the day around what you choose.

The stops
Trogir
The UNESCO-listed old town on its small island, a short walk from where the car stops. Good for a coffee and a first look around.
Primošten
An old village packed onto a little peninsula, with a church at the top and vineyards on the hills behind. The view from the churchyard is worth the climb.
Šibenik
Steep lanes up to the Cathedral of St James, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A good place for lunch before the last hour to Zadar.
Zadar
Drop-off at your accommodation, or the nearest road if you are staying in the old town.
Good to know
The plan is set so you reach Zadar well before 22:00. Stops and waiting are charged on top of the transfer, and the price comes back in the reply before you book.
